The Indulgences

Thanks very much to Joseph for sending me pictures of the first Indulgences gig. I've got an image of myself on the splash page now. :-)

You may have heard about this: a recent Planet Rock Radio poll has declared Led Zeppelin as the ultimate classic rock supergroup. All four members were chosen as the best in the respective categories.

Anyway, this set me thinking about who I would choose to make up an ultimate classic rock supergroup; it's been occupying my mind all through the past week. Finally, I've devised this rather interesting never-to-exist group for your consideration:

• Roy Orbison - lead vocals
• Jimi Hendrix - guitars
• Paul McCartney - bass
• John Evan - keyboards
• Bill Bruford - drums

What can I say about my skills, and thus sate this 'burning desire' to post? Perhaps it's best to steal and misuse this quote from one of my favorite drummers and personal role model:
Eat drums! Ah, beat drums!
Well, I shall continue to work on my playing. I hope at our next gig there are some people there to forgive for enjoying us.

okay, so i guess here i am joining this blog craze that tim has started. i am masami tadehara, the new bass player for the indulgences as well as tim's lovely wife! i joined this band a few days ago... sunday was the first rehearsal that i participated in. well, let's just say that i could use some practice to get good. my fingers don't hurt anymore, so i guess i had better get back on the job, huh?

I had the crazy idea that my band mates might occasionally have the burning desire to post something to the Indulgences blog; with that in mind, I've converted it to use Blogger. I've re-entered all the old posts and tweaked the design template a bit and I think it's just about ready to go. Invitation e-mails have been sent to Masami and Theresa. Let the blog-fest begin!
